Despite my love for technology and media I have a deep found respect for nature and the outdoors. As people such as Tim Minchin and Richard Dawkins have put more elegantly than I ever could, nature is more beautiful than anything we can dream up, including Gods and magic. While financial and work commitments are fairly limiting my travel at the moment I have a huge desire to see the natural wonders of the world, the last place I visited outside of the UK was Iceland and I found it a truly beautiful and spectacular place. The list of places I want to visit is pretty large but I especially want to see Japan, some of the Canadian National Parks, Yosemite and American places of beauty and visit Mexico and Brazil. The truth is I just want to see every single place I can. I don’t often get jealous about other peoples lives but I can; deny i get a bit grumpy when i see people jetting off to fantastic places and i’m stuck at home :'( Like a lot of people in this mindset I enjoy walking/hiking with nature, I grew up in cubs/scouts so I’m used to walking long distances, it’s a fun way to do a bit of exercise and it’s generally fairly interesting to discover new places, even in your home town.
